M.A.C Liquid Eyeliner review

M.A.C Liquid Eyeliner review

Years ago, I was always in search of the perfect liquid eyeliner. I wanted something that was precise and dried in a dark true black color. I have tried nearly every black liquid liner on the market. I always go back to M.A.C. Cosmetics liquid eyeliner in Boot Black.

This liquid eyeliner comes in a small bottle that looks like a minature paint pot. The top is not a brush but a precision point tip that starts off a little harder but gets softer with time. Learning to apply liquid eyeliner takes practice and is much easier to learn with a pointed tip instead of a brush.

The container of eyeliner is small, but it lasts a very long time. I wear lots of eyeliner. One eyeliner can last me for a few months. This product is under $20 and is well worth the money.

The Boot Black liner is by far one of the fastest drying liquid eyeliners on the market. When this eyeliner dries it looks perfect. Only one fall back- it isn't dark, when the eyeliner dries its looks greyish. It is not a shiny look, but a fashionable matte black. It is not a good idea to use this liner on your bottom lids unless you want it inside of your eye.

This eyeliner does not last all day. It is not waterproof. Although, if you go to bed with this eyeliner on, you'd have eyeliner stained sheets.😂

One of the drawbacks of the M.A.C. liquid liner is that it will run in the corners of your eyes after a few hours. This is easily remedied by not lining all the way to the inner corner of your eye.

I have told several friends about this product and they have all switched brands. This is a really great product where you feel you cannot live without it.

A Boot Black eyeliner is definitely a slight dark colour.

The positives definitely outweigh the negatives and I definitely recommend M.A.C. Cosmetics Liquid Liner in Boot Black.

Henna Art – How To Make A Henna Cone?

 5. The finished cone will look like this.

 8. Keep the henna cones at room temperature for about a day after which you can keep it in the refrigerator for further use.

9. Start henna application by drawing a big pattern on the hand. It could be a geometric paisley shape. Now start to draw outward from the center.

The plastic wrap for the cones can be bought from cosmetic stores and online as well. But whatever it may be, with summer vacations around, spend some time making a henna cone at home. If need be, call your friends over and let them pick up this skill too. Happy Cone-ing your hands and feet!

Beat the heat- what to do, how to do.

These clever, low-cost tricks will help you keep your cool when the weather's hot.

1.Take a cool shower

When all else fails, take frequent cool showers to keep your body temperature down and rinse off the sweat.

2. Aloe vera
You know aloe vera soothes sunburn, and its cooling properties also work to help you beat the heat. Blogger Crunchy Betty offers different recipes to make spray of it, combining witch hazel and peppermint oil.

3.Chrysanthemum tea
Whether it's hot or cold, chrysanthemum tea is served to lower body temperature, according to China Daily. It's also been said to soothe heat rash, experts told Natural Health.

4.Peppermint tea
Brew a pot of peppermint tea, then stick it in the fridge. Once it's nice and cold, it is suggest as pouring some into a spray bottle and misting yourself with it. Better than water, the menthol in the tea will give your skin a tingly, cool feel.

5.Iced Green Tea with Lemon and Mint

Avoid heating up the house with the stove and brew your tea in the sun instead! This takes a bit of planning, but there’s not a lot of actual work involved.
15 bags of organic green tea
1 gallon of water
1/2c whole fresh mint leaves
juice of 2 lemons
sweetener of your choice, to taste
Combine the tea bags, water, and mint in a clean, gallon-sized container and set it out in the sun for 3-4 hours, depending on how dark you like your tea. Remove the tea bags and add the lemonjuice   and sweeten, if you like.

6.Cucumber Mint Water
It might sound like a strange combination, but cold water with a couple of slices of cucumber and a sprig of mint is a delicious, cooling summer drink. You can serve this up one glass at a time or put together a whole pitcher to keep in the fridge. Here’s how to make an eight-serving batch of cucumber mint water:
Combine a half of a sliced cucumber and 1/2 cup of coarsely chopped mint in a four quart pitcher.
Top the pitcher off with 16 cups of water and chill until you’re ready to serve.
Bonus points if you grow your own mint or cucumbers to whip up this beverage!

7.Melon Puree
This is a drink I had on a trip to Jamaica. It’s incredibly refreshing and simple to make. Melons are a great source of vitamin C, and when you puree instead of juicing, you retain all of that healthy fiber. Here’s how to make your own melon puree:
Slice up a a honeydew melon or cantaloupe into chunks.
Blend until smooth, adding a bit of water to thin things out if necessary.Chill your puree before serving for extra cooling benefits.
You could probably make this with watermelon   or any other sweet    melon, but I’ve only tried honeydew and cantaloupe.
